Shipping Policy
Keystone City Comics ships orders using trusted shipping carriers, including USPS and other available carriers, depending on the destination, package size, weight, and shipping service selected.
Shipping charges are calculated based on the available shipping options at the time your order is placed. Shipping charges may vary based on carrier rates, package weight, dimensions, and other shipping costs.
We make every effort to process and ship orders as quickly as possible. Please keep in mind that processing time and shipping time are separate. The shipping time provided at checkout begins once your order has been shipped.
If your order contains both in-stock items and pre-order items, your order may be held and shipped together once all items are available.
Release dates for pre-order items are provided by the publisher and are subject to change. Please see our Release Dates & Publisher Information section for more information.
If you would like in-stock items shipped separately from a pre-order, a separate order may be required and additional shipping charges may apply.
Please carefully review your shipping address before completing your order.
We use the shipping address provided at checkout when processing your order. If you need to make a change to your shipping address, please contact us as soon as possible.
Once an order has been shipped or transferred to the shipping carrier, we may no longer be able to change the delivery address. If an order is returned to us because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be shipped again.
If tracking shows that your package was delivered but you cannot locate it, please first check around your property, with household members, and with neighbors who may have accepted the package.
You may also wish to contact the shipping carrier directly to report the missing package.
Please contact us if you are unable to locate your package after taking these steps. We will do our best to assist you, but we cannot guarantee replacement or reimbursement for packages that are confirmed by the carrier as delivered.
Return & Cancellation Policy
Release dates are subject to change. Keystone City Comics does not control publisher release schedules and therefore cannot guarantee that an item will be released on the date originally provided by the publisher or listed on our website.
Publishers may make changes to products after they have been solicited to retailers. These changes can include, but are not limited to:
- Changes to the release date
- Changes to cover art or final artwork
- Changes to trade dress or virgin covers
- Changes to cover designs or other product details
- Changes to an item's ratio or incentive status
- Changes to an open-order variant, including converting it to a ratio/incentive variant
- Cancellations or other changes to a solicited product
Product Images & Descriptions
For many regular-release items, we use publisher-provided stock images and product descriptions when creating our listings. These materials are often provided to retailers before the final product is manufactured and may not always represent the exact appearance of the finished book.
For example, promotional images provided to retailers may show a virgin cover without trade dress, while the final published book may include trade dress. Similarly, a cover or variant designation may be changed by the publisher after we have already created a listing.
Open-order variants may also be changed by the publisher to ratio or incentive variants, which can affect the availability and terms of an existing listing.
These changes are determined by the publishers and are outside of Keystone City Comics' control. We will make every reasonable effort to update our listings and notify customers of significant changes as soon as we receive updated information from the publisher or distributor.
By placing an order, you acknowledge that publisher-provided release dates, artwork, descriptions, and product specifications are subject to change.
Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase. Many of our books, especially new releases, variants, and pre-orders, are purchased or allocated from our distributors based on customer demand.
Because of this, orders cannot be canceled once they have been placed, including pre-orders.
In rare circumstances, Keystone City Comics may make an exception to this policy at our discretion. Any exception is considered on a case-by-case basis and does not guarantee that future cancellation requests will be approved.
If we are unable to fulfill your order for any reason, we will contact you and provide an appropriate resolution, which may include a full refund.
Once a refund has been approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method. Please allow several business days for your payment provider or financial institution to process the refund and return the funds to your account.
This policy does not affect your rights regarding orders that arrive damaged, incorrect, or incomplete. Please see our Damages section below for more information.
By placing an order with Keystone City Comics, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
We carefully inspect and package all orders before shipment. Once an order has shipped, we do not accept returns for reasons other than damage that occurred during shipping.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible so we can review the situation and determine the appropriate resolution.
To help us properly assess the damage, please provide the following:

Photos of the affected book(s) outside of the bag and board so the damage can be clearly evaluated.

Photos of the shipping packaging, including the exterior of the package and any interior packaging materials.

Your order number, name, and/or email address associated with the order to help us locate your purchase and respond as quickly as possible.

The name or initials of the person who packed your order, if this information is included on the packaging materials.
Please do not discard the damaged book or packaging until we have completed our review, as they may be necessary for a shipping claim.
Unless otherwise stated in the product description, books sold by Keystone City Comics are considered Near Mint (NM 9.4) or better at the time of shipment.
We do not accept returns or issue refunds for books graded NM 9.4 or better due to minor defects that are considered acceptable within standard comic book grading practices.
The following types of defects may be present on an NM 9.4 book, provided there is no significant accumulation of defects:
Bindery Defects

Minor to moderate corner tears
-
Small amounts of white showing along the spine edge

Covers that are slightly misaligned or offset from the pages, which can be more common with cardstock covers

Other minor defects resulting from the manufacturing or binding process
Bindery defects may have little to no effect on the overall grade of a book.
Printing & Manufacturing Defects

Slight color rubs, including on back covers
-
Small wrinkles or paper imperfections that were present in the paper before printing

Slightly wavy paper resulting from the printing process
-
Other minor imperfections resulting from the printing or manufacturing process
Spine Defects

Approximately 2–3 small color-breaking spine dings

Minor non-color-breaking spine dings
These examples are provided as general guidelines and are based on commonly used grading standards and practices associated with CGC and CBCS. Comic book grading involves some degree of subjectivity, and minor manufacturing defects do not necessarily prevent a book from qualifying as NM 9.4 or better.
We make every reasonable effort to accurately assess the condition of our books before they are shipped.
